Two Sons

Christ teaches that righteous and unrighteous people will coexist in the world until the end of the age and will be sorted at the final judgment.

Jesus teaches that true wisdom is justified by its works, and demonstrates the examples of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ. By their fruits, ye shall know them.

Wise and Foolish Builders

The parable of the wise and foolish builders teaches the importance of building one's life on a solid foundation of obedience to God's word, as illustrated through a wise man who built his house on a foundation of rock and a foolish man who built his house on a foundation of sand.

Wise as Serpents, Gentle as Doves

Jesus' counsel to his apostles emphasizes the importance of being wise, innocent, gentle, and discerning in the face of persecution, hostility, and opposition.

Wolves in Sheeps Clothing

Jesus' parable warns his followers of false prophets who disguise themselves as harmless but who inwardly are ravenous wolves seeking to deceive and destroy.

Yoke

Jesus invites all who are weary and burdened to come to him and take his yoke, which is easy and light, and learn from him.
