We will be discussing the significance of the organization of Matthew's Gospel, how it runs parallel with Christ's Sermon on the Mount, and the organization of the Tanakh (Torah “law,” Nevi'im “Prophets,” and “Writings.” We will explore how this pattern teaches us about the Covenant Path, as it was understood anciently, and how it is understood today. We will examine how this path perfectly aligns with the Life and Mission of the Savior and His Ministry. This will better help us recognize the purpose, significance, and organization of Christ's teachings, miracles, and parables and how these different parts help us understand the bigger picture. I am still working on the Parable link and hope to get that up shortly, and I still have more I want to include in the Miracles and Disciples link, so check up on those periodically. Hopefully, they will be a good reference and resource for you. Be sure to check out the Decapolis link below, many of the stories and miracles we read about in the sections we are currently studying took place in these Gentile communities, and this history is very significant to Christ's story and mission.
